A special THANK YOU goes out to Sandy Kolar for her hard work on all the fashion tours. She took care of the coordinating and details, kept things loose during the shoot, came up with many of the ideas and props. She also did the styling and make up for all the models. When she wasn’t doing that, Sandy was out somewhere scouting locations. There was a time or two when she even lugged around heavy equipment, lighting and camera gear.
This is our 3rd stop on the tour. Forget about the fictional drama about this area that you saw on NBC’s “Homicide: Life on the Streets” or HBO’s “The Corner” or “The Wire.”
Our area is very diverse with mountains and the ocean sandwiching a large metropolitan region in between. We didn’t have to go very far to find a “special” setting. We used rural settings during the spring and fall to give a different feel to the project. We visited locations on the Appalachian Trail, Eastern Shore and Chesapeake Bay wetlands, and the Blue Ridge Highway in the Carolinas. As you can see, real life is a lot different than make believe TV.
We are always looking for new talent and if this looks like something you might be interested in doing we would love to hear from you. It is a great way to add to your port.
